Karmine Corp began its Worlds campaign on October 15 with a 3-2 comeback win over Cloud9. The North American team took a 2-1 lead, but Karmine Corp won the final two games to reach the upper-bracket final.
Karmine Corp then beat MVK Esports 3-0 on October 16 to set up Sunday’s qualification match. MVK had opened the Play-In Stage with a 3-0 win over Brazil’s FURIA before losing to Karmine Corp. The Vietnamese team beat FURIA 3-1 to earn another qualification opportunity but lost the rematch with Karmine Corp.
MVK’s elimination followed the earlier exits of Cloud9 and FURIA. Karmine Corp will join fellow LEC teams G2 Esports and Movistar KOI in the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage.
The Swiss Stage is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 23, at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. Sixteen teams will compete in the stage. Teams that earn three wins will advance to the Knockout Stage, while teams with three losses will be eliminated.
