K/DA to Perform With True Damage at Worlds 2026

K/DA has returned with “FIRESTARTER” and will perform with True Damage at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship Finals in New York on Nov. 14.

K/DA, the virtual League of Legends K-pop group, released “FIRESTARTER” on Oct. 21 as the lead track from a new four-song EP. The release marks the group’s first music in six years and introduces a new direction for its fictional performers Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa.

The FIRESTARTER EP includes “FIRESTARTER,” “WATCH ME,” “NEVER GOING BACK” and “GIRLS,” a collaboration with DJ Sona, one of League of Legends’ earliest virtual artists. Riot Games said the project focuses on the characters’ artistic development and their departure from earlier expectations.

“We wanted to respect what made people fall in love with K/DA while giving Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa the space to evolve as artists after all this time,” Maria Egan, Riot Games’ global head of music and events, wrote in the announcement. “This is K/DA stepping confidently into their next chapter, with a new look, attitude and a diverse group of songs to showcase their individual journeys.”

K/DA will perform with True Damage during the opening ceremony of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship Finals at Barclays Center in New York on Nov. 14. Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb will provide the voices for Evelynn and Kai’Sa, respectively, joining SOYEON and MIYEON of the K-pop group i-dle. K/DA last performed at the World Championship Finals in 2018.

The group will also return to League of Legends through new K/DA-themed skins. Ahri and Kai’Sa will receive Epic skins. Evelynn will receive a Legendary skin and a Mythic Variant, while Akali will receive a Mythic Variant. Riot plans to release the skins on Nov. 4 with League of Legends Patch 26.22.

K/DA debuted in 2018 with “POP/STARS,” performed by the virtual characters with real-world artists. The group has since accumulated more than 2.7 billion streams and 1.8 billion video views. “POP/STARS” received platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.
