INFINITE releases rifler Martin “Dytor” Handl

INFINITE confirmed the departure of 23-year-old rifler Martin “Dytor” Handl in a post on X, saying he is now a free agent. The organization thanked Dytor for his contributions and wrote: “He’s been a valuable asset in our fight for international glory. As of today, he’s a free agent and ready for his next challenge. Thank you, Dytor. See you on the server.” The announcement did not provide a reason for the split or disclose contractual details.

Dytor joined INFINITE earlier in 2026 during a roster overhaul that changed the team from an all-Romanian lineup to an international squad. He arrived alongside Henrich “sl3nd” Hevesi and Rasmus “kreaz” Johansson and filled the rifler role.

The new lineup won United21 League Season 46, Parken Challenger Championship Season 5 and the Esplay Elite Gaming Cup. Those results helped INFINITE reach a peak ranking of 35th in the global VRS.

Results declined in subsequent months, and INFINITE slipped toward the edge of the top 50 in the VRS after several unsuccessful runs in key LAN qualifiers.

After Dytor’s exit, INFINITE’s active roster lists Rasmus “kreaz” Johansson, Raul “Blytz” Gligor, Sebastian “volt” Maloș and Henrich “sl3nd” Hevesi, with Samy “Tionix” von Gehlen serving as coach. The organization has not announced a replacement or whether it will promote from its academy or pursue free agents.

INFINITE is scheduled to open its Logitech G Play Connect 2026 campaign on September 18 against Team Liquid, leaving limited time to confirm a fifth player for the event.

Dytor, 23, is available for other teams to sign. He has not released a personal statement and there is no public information about his next destination.
