Imperial hires Marcos ‘tacitus’ Castilho as head coach
Imperial appointed Marcos ‘tacitus’ Castilho as head coach of its Counter-Strike team, replacing Rafael ‘zakk’ Fernandes. Tacitus was dismissed by Fluxo in February.
Imperial announced Marcos ‘tacitus’ Castilho as the new head coach of its Counter-Strike team, filling the vacancy left by Rafael ‘zakk’ Fernandes, who departed the organization in mid-June.
Tacitus had been out of work since February after Fluxo dismissed him following nearly two years in charge. Fluxo later brought in Gustavo ‘Juve’ Alexandre as tacitus’s replacement.
Imperial confirmed the appointment as the team prepares for upcoming regional events and qualifiers. After signing Guilherme ‘saadzin’ Pacheco, Imperial won CCT 2026 South America Series 3 and the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 South America Series 2. Subsequent results included a second-place finish to Fluxo at BetBoom RUSH B Summit Season 4, a Round of 16 loss to BESTIA Academy at CCT 2026 South America Series 4, and a 5th–6th place finish in the South American closed qualifier for StarLadder StarSeries Fall.
The club’s active roster lists Marcelo ‘chelo’ Cespedes, Vinicius ‘VINI’ Figueiredo, Lucas ‘decenty’ Bacelar, Kaiky ‘noway’ Santos and Guilherme ‘saadzin’ Pacheco, with Marcos ‘tacitus’ Castilho named as coach. Guilherme ‘levi’ Gustavo and Felipe ‘skullz’ Medeiros remain on the bench.
