MIBR, NRG Qualify for StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026
MIBR and NRG secured berths at the $500,000 StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 after winning the South American and North American qualifiers; the LAN runs Sept. 17–20.
MIBR and NRG earned spots at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 by winning their regional qualifiers. The eight-team, $500,000 LAN is scheduled for Sept. 17–20 at a venue that organisers have not yet announced. The final field will include four invited teams plus qualifying sides Aurora, magic, MIBR and NRG.
NRG’s run through the North American qualifier included a roster change and a lower-bracket route. The organisation debuted Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli on the AWP and dropped to the lower bracket after a third-round loss to Voca. NRG then beat SportsBetExpert 2-0 to stay in the event and returned to defeat Voca in a two-map final. Aran “Sonic” Groesbeek recorded the top rating for NRG at 1.28 for the qualifier, while hallzerk averaged a 1.15 rating in his first tournament with the team.
MIBR advanced through the South American qualifier with a dominant record. The Brazilian side dropped one map across the event and eliminated Fluxo, LP, ShindeN and BESTIA to secure its place at the LAN.
Both teams also face upcoming World Cup scheduling. MIBR is one of 28 teams invited to the $2 million Esports World Cup in Paris. NRG must enter the 64-team open qualifier set for Aug. 7–9 and has been placed in Group N alongside Acend, Spirit Esports and Vandulken.
Organisers have confirmed the StarLadder StarSeries Fall dates and prize pool but have not revealed the venue. Teams qualified through regional events will arrive in mid-September for four days of LAN play.
