IEM Cologne Major: Monte, Legacy, BIG vie for Stage 3

Final day of IEM Cologne Major Stage 2 on 9 June features three do-or-die Round 5 matches: Monte vs paiN, Legacy vs TYLOO and BIG vs B8. Winners take the three remaining Stage 3 berths.

On 9 June in Cologne, three elimination matches at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2 will decide the last spots in Stage 3. Monte meets paiN at 14:00, Legacy faces TYLOO at 16:30 and BIG plays B8 at 19:00 CEST. Each match is a best-of-three Swiss Round 5 fixture: winners advance to Stage 3, losers are eliminated from the tournament.

Six teams entered the day with 2-2 records in Stage 2. These do-or-die matches will fill the three remaining Stage 3 berths and complete the field for the next phase of the Major.

Stage 2 used a 16-team Swiss system to narrow the tournament field ahead of Stage 3. The three winning squads on 9 June will join the teams already qualified for the next phase; the losing teams will end their runs at the Cologne event.

Matches will be streamed live by the tournament organisers, with highlights from Stage 2 Day 4 expected after the games. The results of the final-day matches will determine the remaining Stage 3 field and shape the next storylines at IEM Cologne Major 2026.
