HEROIC parts ways with AWP yxngstxr
HEROIC has parted ways with Simon ‘yxngstxr’ Boije, the AWP who joined in 2025 and helped the team reach Stage 1 of the IEM Cologne Major.
HEROIC announced the departure of Simon ‘yxngstxr’ Boije. The club stated Boije joined in 2025 and left to pursue a ‘new journey.’
Boije returned to HEROIC’s active roster at the start of 2026 when teammate Alimzhan ‘Alkaren’ Bitimbay encountered visa issues. He took the AWP role and helped the team qualify for Stage 1 of the IEM Cologne Major. During that stretch he recorded an average rating of 1.00.
He stepped down from the starting lineup during the club’s summer roster rebuild and was moved to the inactive roster. While inactive, Boije stood in for EYEBALLERS at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 and played with the Raccoons mix-team in several online events.
HEROIC’s active roster remains Linus ‘nilo’ Bergman, Tim ‘susp’ Ångström, Christoffer ‘Chr1zN’ Storgaard, Antonio ‘MartinezSa’ Martinez and Ludvig ‘Brollan’ Brolin, with Joonas ‘doto’ Forss as coach. The organization has not named a direct replacement for Boije on the inactive list or announced immediate changes to the active lineup.
