HEROIC benches Yasin ‘xfl0ud’ Koç amid lineup changes

HEROIC announced Tuesday that it has benched 23-year-old Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç. Koç had been with the organization for about a year and a half and was briefly placed on the bench in June 2025 before being reinstated two months later.

The benching is part of broader roster and coaching changes at HEROIC. Koç arrived in early 2025 as part of a group of players transferred from Sangal. The club recently replaced coach Tobias “TOBIZ” Theo with Joonas “doto” Forss and said it will evaluate alternatives while it finalizes a new active lineup.

HEROIC’s listed active roster currently includes Simon “yxngstxr” Boije, Linus “nilo” Bergman, Tim “susp” Ångström and Christoffer “Chr1zN” Storgaard, with Joonas “doto” Forss as coach. Both Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç and Alimzhan “Alkaren” Bitimbay appear as benched players; Alkaren has been sidelined by visa issues, and Boije has been covering the AWPer role during Alkaren’s absence.

People familiar with the situation say HEROIC has shown interest in Antonio “MartinezSa” Martinez for the AWPer position and may pursue roster moves that include targeting MartinezSa to replace Boije in that role. The same sources indicate HEROIC could explore a trade for Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea, who was benched earlier Tuesday by FUT.

The organization has not confirmed any trades or permanent departures and has not provided a timeline for a replacement announcement. HEROIC says it will continue assessing options as it prepares its active lineup for upcoming events.
