hAdji retires from pro play, open to team staff roles

Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss announced his retirement from professional play on social media, ending a career that began in 2015. “After years of dedication and chasing dreams, I’ve decided to retire as a player,” he wrote, adding that his passion for the game remains and that he is interested in staff opportunities.

hAdji rose to attention on EnVyUs’ academy roster and was promoted to EnVyUs’ senior team in February 2018. His deepest run at a major LAN came with EnVyUs at CAC 2018, where the French side finished 3–4th.

He later played for 3DMAX, LDLC, Falcons and Monte, with two separate spells at Monte, and had a stint with DRILLAS. He left 3DMAX in March 2024.

In October 2025 he co-launched an organization-less project called illwill with Volodymyr “Woro2k” Veletniuk.

Most recently, in July, he appeared in a Moroccan lineup that won the Esports Nations Cup open qualifier alongside Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom and Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom.

The retirement post emphasized that his commitment to competition and teamwork has not faded and that he hopes to bring his experience and work ethic to a non-playing role. No timeline was provided for when he might join a coaching or analytical staff, and he indicated openness to opportunities within professional organizations.
