GRID launches GRID Odds esports betting service

GRID launched GRID Odds, a live esports betting service for operators offering data-driven pricing and in-play markets for CS2, Dota 2, Valorant and League of Legends.

GRID has launched GRID Odds, a live esports betting service for gambling operators. The product is now available for CS2, Dota 2, Valorant and League of Legends and offers data-driven pricing alongside expanded in-play markets.

GRID Odds includes markets ranging from match and map winners to player props and in-round micro markets that can settle during rounds or maps. The service is intended for operators that want high-frequency live markets in major esports titles.

The company uses official match data to power pricing and live markets. GRID holds data agreements with Riot Games, Ubisoft, KRAFTON, ESL FACEIT Group and BLAST, which the company says allow more detailed in-play offerings than providers without such access.

GRID noted that live betting currently accounts for roughly 70% of stakes in esports markets and that access to official event data enables markets that react to events inside maps and rounds rather than only pre-match outcomes.

Thomas Warburton, co-founder and chief business officer at GRID, commented on the role of official data: “GRID has been built on a single conviction: esports betting success depends on official data access. GRID Odds is the logical, scalable extension of that position.”

The company has also expanded its trading capability. Evgeniy Bekker was appointed vice president of trading and has led the build-out of a new trading desk. Bekker previously served as director of trading at BETER. Warburton said Bekker brings the experience required to drive the business and cited the trading team as a key factor in product success.

GRID is expanding beyond traditional bookmaker services into prediction markets. The firm partnered with Polymarket in June, and the platform reported $790 million in esports volume in July, a 33% increase from June. GRID noted some prediction market services remain restricted in the UK and that regulators are reviewing rules that could affect market access.

GRID describes GRID Odds as a scalable product for operators seeking live, data-rich esports betting supported by official data agreements and an enlarged trading team.
