GamerLegion beat Astralis 2-0 at BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 1, winning Overpass 13-8 and coming back from 4-12 to take Inferno 16-14 to reach the semi-finals.
GamerLegion defeated Astralis 2-0 at the BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 1 LAN playoffs, winning Overpass 13-8 and Inferno 16-14 to advance to the semi-finals.
The series opened on Astralis’ Overpass pick. Fredrik “REZ” Sterner won a 1v3 early in the match, and Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski secured a double Deagle kill during a pistol sequence. GamerLegion reached the halftime level score and then allowed just two rounds on the T-side to close the map 13-8. REZ, Oldřich “PR” Nový and Snax provided the bulk of the team’s damage and multikill rounds.
Inferno began in Astralis’ favor, with Astralis leading 9-3 at halftime and extending that advantage to 12-4 after a successful force-buy. Facing match point, GamerLegion won eight consecutive rounds to force overtime. Astralis won the first overtime round, and Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard delivered a quadkill in extra time, but GamerLegion won the next round to finish Inferno 16-14 and complete the 2-0 series victory.
Stat lines for GamerLegion included REZ at 42 kills and 34 deaths with an 86.4 ADR, Snax at 41-36, and PR at 42-32. For Astralis, Love “phzy” Smidebrant had 37-31, Gytis “ryu” Glušauskas posted 37-41, and Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen recorded 24-35.
GamerLegion will meet Vitality in the BLAST Rivals semi-finals. The two teams met earlier this year at the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1 Finals, where Vitality beat GamerLegion 2-0 with narrow map scores. GamerLegion reached the Rivals playoffs after a 2-1 win over FURIA.
