FUT renews contracts for dem0n, coolio and dziugss
FUT extended deals for Dmytro “dem0n” Myroshnychenko, András “coolio” Fercsák and Džiugas “dziugss” Steponavičius after climbing to No.3 on the VRS.
FUT have renewed the contracts of Dmytro “dem0n” Myroshnychenko, András “coolio” Fercsák and Džiugas “dziugss” Steponavičius following the team’s rise to number three on the VRS rankings. The trio joined from NAVI Junior and were part of the squad that finished second at the Esports World Cup.
The Turkish organisation confirmed the signings but did not disclose how long the new deals run. FUT also provided no update on the contract status of Aulon “Krabeni” Fazlija or Nikita “cmtry” Samolotov, who joined the club at the same time as the extended players.
Players and coach András “coolio” Fercsák drew interest from several top teams after FUT’s ascent. Reports say Džiugas “dziugss” Steponavičius rejected an approach from Natus Vincere this summer and remained with FUT.
In January, Krabeni recalled that multiple team members had received offers: “Everyone in the team had good offers, the coach and everyone had good offers. But at the end of the season, we all knew what we are capable of together. Everyone just declined everything.”
FUT promoted several players from NAVI Junior this year as it entered tier-one competition. The club has not announced any further roster moves or revealed contract lengths for the remaining players.
