FURIA, BETBOOM Clinch Playoff Spots at FISSURE Playground 3

FURIA defeated PARIVISION and BETBOOM overcame Astralis during group-stage action at FISSURE Playground 3 on Sept. 9, 2026, with both teams securing places in the tournament playoffs.

FURIA won on Ancient with a decisive performance before closing out a tense Inferno after holding a 9-4 lead. Kaike KSCERATO Cerato and Danil molodoy Golubenko posted series ratings of 1.60 and 1.51 respectively, helping FURIA finish the match. PARIVISION were eliminated from playoff contention following the two-map series.

BETBOOM sent Astralis to the lower bracket with a victory that featured strong play from Kirill Boombl4 Mikhailov. Rasmus HooXi Nielsen and Love phzy Smidebrant produced solid numbers for Astralis, with phzy finishing as the team’s highest-rated player and 0.44 rating points ahead of his next-best teammate. Astralis will need at least one lower-bracket win to return to the playoff field.

Earlier on Sept. 9, BIG and GamerLegion were knocked out of the event without a win. BIG, led by Benjamin blameF Bremer, struggled on the CT sides of Mirage and Ancient across their group matches and will meet G2 in a lower-bracket match. GamerLegion, competing without Janusz Snax Pogorzelski, lost to TYLOO in a two-map series after having pushed FURIA close in an earlier match.

The final day of group play on Sept. 10 will decide the remaining playoff spots and seeding. Matches begin with 9z versus G2 and Alliance versus TYLOO, followed by Astralis against 5star, magic versus PARIVISION, MIBR facing BETBOOM and Legacy taking on FURIA, then the Group A and Group B lower-bracket finals. Winners of the upper-bracket matches have already secured playoff berths; losers and lower-bracket victors will compete for the remaining places.

The tournament format sends teams that lose early into a lower bracket where they must win to stay in the event, while series winners progress toward the playoff bracket. With FURIA and BETBOOM confirmed in the playoffs, the remaining teams will play on Sept. 10 to determine the final qualifiers and seeding for the knockout rounds.
