Flatpay joins Astralis sponsorship programme through 2027
Danish payments company Flatpay has joined Astralis’ new The Collective sponsorship programme as its first member. The partnership runs through 2027.
Flatpay has become the first member of Astralis’ new The Collective sponsorship programme. The partnership runs through 2027 and covers the upcoming Counter-Strike World Championship in Singapore.
Jonas Gundersen, founder of Fusion Esports Group, Astralis’ parent company, announced the programme. It focuses on networking between partner companies and individuals rather than standard sponsorship advertising placements.
The Collective has no permanent venue, and Astralis’ attendance at individual events is not guaranteed. Partners will receive invitations to four events during the agreement and access to Fusion’s network of investors, entrepreneurs and contacts in technology, music and sports.
Planned events for 2027 include a trip to Madrid with a discussion involving footballer Thibaut Courtois, who recently acquired a stake in Fusion, followed by a stadium visit. The programme is also due to include a private concert and networking event in Copenhagen, a visit to a production studio in Malta and access to a private viewing area at IEM Cologne, a top-tier Counter-Strike tournament.
Partners will receive logo placement on Astralis’ jersey and permission to use the team’s branding in their marketing. Gundersen said the jersey appears in more than 200 million hours of viewed content each year.
The Collective will have 10 members. Applications are due to close when all places are filled, ahead of the Counter-Strike Major in Singapore scheduled for December. The next opportunity to join is not expected until 2028.
The participation fee has not been disclosed. Gundersen described the programme as accessible to companies of different sizes.
Flatpay CEO and founder Sander Janca-Jensen was an early investor in Fusion Esports Group when it acquired Astralis in September 2025.
