Elisa launches €15,000 LAN at Assembly Summer

Elisa will run a €15,000 LAN tournament series at Assembly Summer 2026, with group-stage matches to small live audiences and the final on Assembly’s main stage; ENCE is an early entrant.
Elisa Esports unveiled details of BreakOut Series #1, a €15,000 Counter-Strike 2 LAN staged at Assembly Summer 2026 in Helsinki from July 30 to Aug. 1. The event is capped at eight teams from the Schengen area, each paying a €1,000 plus VAT entry fee.
Matches will be played on-site at Messukeskus. Group stage games are set for the Elisa Esports booth in front of attendees, with the final scheduled for the Assembly Main Stage. As a Valve Regional Standings-ranked event, results will feed into Valve’s regional rankings for CS2. Event materials describe the series as a platform for emerging players and teams in an environment that affects official standings.
Registration is first-come, first-served until eight slots are filled. Each entry covers five players and one coach. Payment must be completed within 72 hours of registration to confirm a place. Teams must be present for the full tournament.
Check-in rules require teams to report to the venue on Day 1 by the stated time and to be ready at least an hour before their first match. Failure to check in on time can lead to disqualification. There are no travel or participation stipends; compensation is limited to prize money.
The prize pool totals €15,000, with €7,500 for the winner, €3,500 for second place, and €2,000 for each semifinalist.
The format features a qualifying group stage followed by a single-elimination playoff, all on LAN. Group standings use a three-point system for regulation wins, two for overtime wins, one for overtime losses, and none for regulation losses. Tiebreakers are defined in the event rules.
Seeding will follow the Official Global VRS Ranking snapshot dated July 6, 2026. Teams without a VRS position will be seeded using a recognized global CS2 ranking from July 8, 2026. The organizer has set no VRS filter and issued no invitations, keeping sign-ups open to eligible rosters from the Schengen region.
Player eligibility requires a minimum age of 16. Players under 18 must have parental consent under local rules. All participants must compete on accounts in good standing and cannot have active VAC bans.
As of May 27, seven teams had secured reservations: ENCE, HAVU, ROUNDS, KUUSAMO.gg, Eternal 21, AM Gaming, and Orkesteri. One slot remained available pending registration and payment.
