DENDELE eliminate G2 from PGL Masters Bucharest

DENDELE defeated G2 2-1 at PGL Masters Bucharest on Oct. 26, eliminating the international lineup after G2 lost all three of its matches in the tournament.

G2 had earlier lost 0-2 to Natus Vincere and Aurora. The result left the team with one series win across its last two events, against ShindeN at ESL Pro League S24.

G2 took an early lead on the opening map after winning a second-round force-buy while defending. The team won only two more rounds after that. Artem “r1nkle” Moroz led G2 on the map with a 1.30 rating, 0.38 ahead of his closest teammate, but G2 struggled to create consistent attacks.

DENDELE moved 12-6 ahead on Ancient, but G2 forced overtime and won 16-14 to level the series. DENDELE then won 13-5 on Inferno to close out the match and stay in the tournament.

Danilo “doc” Barros led DENDELE with 59 kills and a 1.57 rating. João “koala” Pfeffer and Victor “gafolo” Andrade each recorded a 1.17 rating.

Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko was G2’s highest-rated player in the series at 1.11. Matúš “MATYS” Šimko, Guy “NertZ” Iluz, r1nkle and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač each finished below a 1.00 rating.
