ddk and BARDOLPH rejoin BLAST Bounty on-air team
Daniel “ddk” Kapadia and James “BARDOLPH” Bardolph will join BLAST Bounty Season 2’s on-air talent, their first major LAN broadcast together since PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
BLAST confirmed an eight-member talent lineup for BLAST Bounty Season 2, adding Daniel “ddk” Kapadia and James “BARDOLPH” Bardolph to the on-air team. The tournament runs from July 21 to August 2.
The pair last shared a major live-event broadcast at PGL Major Stockholm 2021. They previously commentated top-level matches together between 2015 and 2020 and have recently worked together on the online stage of ESL Pro League Season 23, ROG Journey Spring and the CCT circuit.
BLAST Bounty Season 2 begins with an online stage in which 32 teams will compete in single-elimination matches to produce the final eight. From the quarter-finals onward the event will move to BLAST’s studio in Malta, where the remaining matches will be played and broadcast.
Hosting and interview duties are assigned to James “BanKs” Banks and Natalie “NatTea” Mahoney. The analyst desk will feature Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg and Donald “voo” Parkhurst. The casting team includes Conner “Scrawny” Girvan, Mohan “launders” Govindasamy, James “BARDOLPH” Bardolph and Daniel “ddk” Kapadia.
The announced on-air roster will provide coverage across the online knockout rounds and the live studio matches as the event progresses from the opening eliminations to the final rounds in Malta.
