K/DA released the “GIRLS” music video on YouTube on Nov. 5, completing the video rollout for its four-track “FIRESTARTER” EP. The video was created with animation studio THE LINE.

“GIRLS” was released as part of the EP on Oct. 21. Riot Games’ release schedule listed an early premiere on Spotify for Nov. 3, followed by the general YouTube release on Nov. 5.

The song’s lyrics focus on freedom, parties, fashion and personal boundaries. Its chorus describes girls doing what they want, while the verses refer to parties, impulsive behavior and social attention.

Sophie Powers and Sorana are credited on vocals. Sorana Păcurar and Ryan Jillian Santiago wrote the lyrics with Jonathan Bach, Bas van Daalen and Mark Landon. M-Phazes and Bas van Daalen produced the track, with additional vocal production from Frequency. Tom Norris mixed the song, and Dale Becker mastered it. Riot Games’ music team served as executive producer.

“GIRLS” is the fourth track on “FIRESTARTER.” The EP’s title track has a video featuring MIYEON and SOYEON of i-dle, Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb. K/DA also released a lyric video for “WATCH ME,” featuring Powers and Webb, and a visualizer for “NEVER GOING BACK,” performed by MIYEON and SOYEON.

DJ Sona’s appearance coincides with the release of new League of Legends content. Riot Games introduced DJ Sona Ultimate Remix, a Mythic Variant with designs inspired by K/DA, HEARTSTEEL and True Damage.

K/DA is scheduled to perform with True Damage at the opening ceremony of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship final on Nov. 14 at Barclays Center in New York.
