Daulet ‘dako’ Ondassynov sets CS2 regulation kill record
Daulet ‘dako’ Ondassynov recorded 40 kills in 24 rounds on LAN during Game Point’s third-place match at BRO Cyber League Season 1 in Almaty.
Daulet ‘dako’ Ondassynov, a 22-year-old rifler for Game Point, posted 40 kills in 24 regulation rounds on Sunday against Total Domination at BRO Cyber League Season 1 in Almaty.
He was 23–6 at halftime on Mirage. Game Point turned a 6–6 half into a 12–10 lead in the second half. On a 2v1 that could have clinched the map and equaled the previous regulation record, dako lost the duel and his teammate failed to convert. He then secured two kills in the following round to reach 40 regulation kills. Game Point lost the map in overtime and fell in the series decider.
Teammate totals in the match were Ali ‘seyl0n’ Mukhtarov with 16 kills, Bekzat ‘beka’ Keneskazin with 18, Zhandos ‘plushax’ Akatayev with 15 and Algat ‘smiley’ Abdul with 11. The match statline shows dako recorded the highest individual kill total while Game Point did not finish on the podium.
The previous regulation record was 39 kills, set by Alex ‘poiii’ Nyholm Sundgren in an online match in September 2024. Danil ‘donk’ Kryshkovets recorded 38 kills on LAN the week before. Other recent regulation totals include Sindre ‘Tapewaare’ Ellefsen (38 online), Anatoliy ‘youka’ Aprosimov (38 LAN), Lucas ‘Lucaozy’ Neves (37 online), Mason ‘Lake’ Sanderson (37 online), Jan ‘cej0t’ Dyl (37 LAN), a 37-kill performance by poiii on LAN, and Diego ‘sacrifice’ Camacho (36 online).
An editor’s note excludes Aleksandr ‘zorte’ Zagodyrenko’s 39 kills because they occurred in a streamer tournament and are not counted among official competitive results. By posting 40 kills in 24 regulation rounds on LAN, dako now holds the CS2 regulation kill record overall and for LAN matches.
