Dastan keeps HObbit to chase another trophy

PARIVISION made a roster change before their March 10, 2026 match at ESL Pro League Season 24 in Katowice, replacing Vyacheslav “slaxejezzz” Vinokurov with veteran HObbit. The revised lineup defeated VRS Legacy 2-1 in overtime and moved into a position with roughly a 95% chance of qualifying for the Major.

Team leader Dastan explained the decision by citing a lack of cohesion and a slow adaptation to tier-one play from slaxejezzz. He added that HObbit’s experience reduces the need for in-match instruction and can provide immediate impact under pressure. “With slaxejezzz, I didn’t feel that we have team chemistry. I didn’t feel that we are one team. And when we bring HObbit, his experience, we don’t need to teach him, and now it’s time to perform,” Dastan said.

HObbit arrived late to Katowice after attending a wedding; Dastan reported he had prepared to play himself if the veteran missed his flight. PARIVISION lost Dust2 after dropping two early pistol rounds but recovered on the remaining maps, with key clutch moments in the decider helping secure the overtime win.

Dastan outlined role plans for the squad, assigning primary rifling duties to FL1T and xiELO and calling for xiELO to raise his level. He also asked HObbit and FL1T to adjust strafing and shooting mechanics for newer maps while relying on their experience on older maps.

The leader said he remains in contact with slaxejezzz and expects the player to develop into a leader for a future generation. Dastan also mentioned younger players he is monitoring, including nota and BELCHONOKK.

Dastan intends to keep HObbit in the lineup to pursue another trophy for the veteran and said the team will focus on winning each match rather than calculating standings as the Major cutoff approaches.
