Alter Ego Tops Q1 Esports Rankings at 55.36M Hours

Esports Charts Q1 2026 ranks Alter Ego first with 55.36 million hours; Mobile Legends and CS2 teams occupy nine of the top 10, G2 Esports is the lone LoL entry.

Esports Charts published cross-title team rankings for Q1 2026, covering January through March, ranking organizations by total hours watched across all matches and events. The metric used was cumulative watch time rather than peak viewers.

Alter Ego led the quarter with 55.36 million hours after reaching the M7 World Championship final via the lower bracket. The M7 event recorded a peak concurrency of 5.68 million viewers and pushed five Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams into the top 10. Aurora Gaming PH, M7 champions, logged 33.54 million hours. Selangor Red Giants recorded 31.43 million hours. Team Liquid PH and ONIC Esports each posted totals between 27 million and 30 million hours; ONIC averaged more than 1.88 million viewers across nine matches.

Counter-Strike 2 supplied four entries in the top 10. FURIA was the highest-ranked CS2 team with 29.54 million hours after 25 matches and strong finishes at BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 and IEM Krakow. Team Vitality reached 23.53 million hours. PARIVISION and Natus Vincere completed the CS2 group, aided by heavy match counts of 27 and 23 matches respectively.

G2 Esports was the only League of Legends team in the top 10, with 19.65 million hours from 20 matches across two events, including the LEC 2026 Versus title and a runner-up finish at First Stand. RRQ Hoshi did not appear in the main watch-time top 10 but placed in the average-viewers top 10 after playing two MPL Indonesia Season 17 matches.

Esports Charts’ methodology rewarded sustained viewer minutes accumulated across many matches and long tournament runs. Teams with extended schedules and deep event runs generated larger cumulative totals under this approach.

The Q2 calendar includes Mobile Legends M8 qualifying events, IEM Dallas, additional BLAST dates and expanded regional League of Legends competition. Those events will add more opportunities for teams to increase total watch time across multiple tournaments and matches.
