Alliance beat EYEBALLERS 2–1 to win Tipsport Conquest Prague

Alliance defeated EYEBALLERS 2–1 in the Tipsport Conquest of Prague final, taking the $23,329 first prize after a 22-20 OT on Inferno and a 13-9 Ancient decider.
Alliance beat EYEBALLERS 2–1 in the Tipsport Conquest of Prague grand final on Sunday, claiming the $23,329 first prize in Prague. The Swedish derby ended with map scores of 22-20 on Inferno, 5-13 on Overpass and 13-9 on Ancient.
EYEBALLERS reached the final from the upper bracket. Alliance dropped to the lower bracket after an earlier defeat, won the consolidation final and forced a rematch for the title.
Nuke and Dust2 were banned in the veto, and Alliance opened on their Inferno pick. The map was tied after regulation and moved to overtime. After 18 additional rounds Alliance closed Inferno 22-20, with Sean “eraa” Knutsson and Arvid “avid” Åberg leading the winners’ scoreboard.
EYEBALLERS responded on Overpass, winning 13-5. Sebastian “dex” Samuelsson and Max “maxster” Jansson led EYEBALLERS’ offense on the map; dex posted a 1.80 map rating and a +6.90% round swing, while maxster posted a 1.54 rating and a +7.29% swing on Overpass.
Ancient decided the series. The teams were tied 6-6 at halftime, with Alliance switching to the CT side. Alliance took the CT pistol and led 9-6 after three rounds on that side. EYEBALLERS narrowed the gap but Alliance held on to win Ancient 13-9. Liam “MaiL09” Tügel posted a 1.65 rating on the final map.
Maxster finished the event as the highest-rated player at 1.37 across eight maps. Alliance’s eraa was second at 1.29 over nine maps. Across the event eraa recorded 74 kills and 52 deaths for Alliance; avid contributed 65 kills. Maxster ended with 64 kills and 48 deaths for EYEBALLERS.
Final standings paid Alliance $23,329 for first place, EYEBALLERS $7,582 for second, Walczaki $2,916 for third and Sashi $1,166 for fourth. In the opening round Alliance and EYEBALLERS defeated Sashi and Walczaki; Walczaki later recorded a win against a Danish team during the event.
