100 Thieves name Gizmy new in-game leader

100 Thieves signed Jack ‘Gizmy’ von Spreckelsen as their in-game leader, the organization confirmed. He replaces Håvard ‘rain’ Nygaard in IGL duties following the removal of André ‘Ag1l’ Gil from the active roster earlier this week.

Gizmy, 22, joins from the international squad Monte, where he helped the team reach Stage 3 at the IEM Cologne Major. He will take on in-server leadership while rain transitions to a different role within the lineup.

The club’s active five now consists of rain, William ‘sirah’ Kjærsgaard, Alex ‘poiii’ Nyholm Sundgren, Nicolai ‘dev1ce‘ Reedtz and Gizmy. Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander remains listed as coach.

Gizmy is expected to make his 100 Thieves CS2 debut at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2; the event’s online stage starts on July 21.

After the Major, four of Gizmy’s Monte teammates signed with Luminosity. On X, he wrote that those teammates had signed contracts before the Major without informing him, calling it a “pretty sad ending.”

100 Thieves did not release details on contract length or financial terms. The team will field the new leadership configuration in upcoming online and LAN events on its schedule.
