FUT CS2: Team Profile, Roster, History and Achievements

FUT Esports launched its Counter-Strike division in May 2025 and rebuilt the initial lineup only a few months later. By 2026, FUT CS2 had won PGL Bucharest, appeared at the Cologne Major and finished second at the Esports World Cup in Paris.

Introducing FUT CS2 Team

FUT Esports is a Turkish esports organization founded in 2017 under the Futbolist name. Its presence has expanded across several competitive games, but Counter-Strike is a relatively recent addition. The organization launched its CS2 division on May 26, 2025.

The first lineup was built around experienced European players, including JACKZ, Nivera and misutaaa. That version of the team lasted only a few months. FUT soon changed direction and assembled a younger international roster around players who had developed largely outside the established tier-one circuit.

The rebuild started producing results in early 2026. The FUT CS2 team finished fourth at the ESL Pro League Season 23 Finals and then won PGL Bucharest in April. Later appearances at the Cologne Major and Esports World Cup put the roster against the world’s leading teams.

FUT remains a Turkish organization, although its main Counter-Strike lineup is international. The current five combines players from Kosovo, Ukraine, Lithuania and Turkey rather than relying on a national roster.

FUT Esports Journey in CS

FUT never had a CS:GO division. The organization entered Counter-Strike in May 2025, well after CS2 had replaced CS:GO on the professional circuit.

Its debut roster featured Audric “JACKZ” Jug, Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom, Kevin “misutaaa” Rabier, David “devoduvek” Dobrosavljevic and Etienne “drac” Salon. Despite the recognizable names, FUT did not keep that lineup together for long.

FUT rebuilt the team again in August, signing dem0n, Krabeni, cmtry and dziugss. Those four became the core of the lineup that won PGL Bucharest the following year, with lauNX completing the five.

By the end of 2025, that roster had already won DraculaN Season 3 and Galaxy Battle 2025 Phase 5 while playing a broader schedule of European events. Neither tournament carried the weight of the S-tier competitions that followed in 2026, but both gave the rebuilt lineup additional match experience.

Early 2026 results were mixed. FUT finished 9th–12th at IEM Kraków and 9th–11th at PGL Cluj-Napoca, then reached fourth place at the ESL Pro League Season 23 Finals.

The first S-tier title for FUT in CS came at PGL Bucharest 2026. The team advanced through the Swiss stage before beating B8 2:0 in the quarterfinal and The MongolZ 2:0 in the semifinal. Astralis took the opening map of the best-of-five grand final, but FUT won the next three to close the series 3:1 and claim its first S-tier championship.

FUT CS2 Roster 2026

The current FUT CS2 roster retains four players from the rebuild completed in August 2025. Its only change during the summer of 2026 came in July, when Turkish rifler xfl0ud replaced lauNX.

 More roster changes may still follow. According to unconfirmed reports, FUT is considering removing Mykyta “cmtry” Samolotov from the lineup. Alan “flayy” Krupa of 9INE has been named as one of the potential replacements, with reports claiming that FUT has already made contact regarding a possible move. The organization has not officially confirmed any change.

Krabeni leads the team in game, while cmtry handles the primary AWP. dem0n and dziugss have remained alongside them since the 2025 rebuild, giving the lineup continuity despite the arrival of xfl0ud.

The 2026 FUT Esports roster reached higher-level tournament results without the established tier-one names found in the organization’s original lineup. Four members of the current five were already in place for the PGL Bucharest title run.

FUT has also experimented with a development structure beneath the main team. FUT Academy fielded a separate CS2 roster from late 2025 into early 2026, including Brillo, rendysky, yoomswa, Wonder and dezt. The lineup later competed as ex-FUT Academy, so it should be viewed as a previous development project rather than part of the current main roster. 

FUT CS2 Biggest Wins and Achievements

PGL Bucharest remains FUT’s biggest championship victory, but its recent CS2 results show that the team has also become capable of deep runs against elite opposition.

FUT has no Major wins yet. The team made its Major debut at IEM Cologne 2026 and moved through Stage 2 with a 3–0 record. Stage 3 proved harder: wins against B8 and MOUZ left the team one series away from the playoffs, but a final loss to BetBoom ended its run at 9th–11th. 

Two months later, FUT reached another international final at EWC 2026 in CS2. The team beat TYLOO and MOUZ in the group phase before defeating magic in the first playoff round. Wins over MOUZ and FURIA then carried FUT into the grand final. 

Spirit prevented a second major trophy. FUT won Cache 13:10 to take the lead in the final, but Spirit answered with victories on Anubis, Ancient and Nuke for a 3:1 series win. FUT finished second and collected $340,000 along with 750 EWC Club Championship points.

FUT entered Counter-Strike only in May 2025. By the end of August 2026, the organization already had an S-tier title, a Major appearance and an EWC grand final on its record.
