Zellsis Returns to Sentinels as Emergency Substitute

Zellsis has rejoined Sentinels as an official emergency substitute and full-time content creator ahead of the 2027 VCT season. He will not be part of the starting lineup.

The reunion follows Cloud9’s exclusion from the 2027 VCT partnership program. Cloud9 opened its roster to outside opportunities, allowing players to seek new teams. Francis “OXY” Hoang joined Sentinels, and Zellsis later left Cloud9 to return to the organization.

Sentinels announced the signing with the message, “He’s baaaaaaack,” alongside a post welcoming Zellsis back. The organization has not announced its fifth starting player for the 2027 season.

Zellsis will provide roster cover in cases involving illness, visa problems or other emergencies. He won VCT 2024 Masters Madrid with Sentinels during his previous tenure with the team.

In his content role, Zellsis will work full time on material for Sentinels. He was part of the organization’s public-facing activities during his previous stint with the team.

His return reunites him with OXY, who joined Sentinels after Cloud9 opened its roster to outside opportunities. Sentinels is continuing to complete its lineup for the 2027 competitive season.
