xKacpersky 2.34 rating knocks out BetBoom at EWC

Ninjas in Pyjamas eliminated BetBoom from the EWC event in Paris with a 2-0 win on Nuke and Anubis. Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara finished the series with a 2.34 rating and 49 kills, while Rasmus “sjuush” Beck provided key support in late rounds.

On Nuke, NiP’s T-side control set the tempo. xKacpersky recorded a 2.70 map rating and high round impact that limited BetBoom’s ability to recover. Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer led the T-side structure that produced several multi-kill rounds for NiP.

On Anubis, NiP opened a 9-3 lead. BetBoom mounted a response after Aleksandr “zorte” Zagodyrenko pulled off a 1v3 clutch, but NiP closed rounds on B sites where xKacpersky accumulated kills. Roman “n0te” Hamze was more active on A while NiP sustained pressure on the other side of the map.

BetBoom entered Paris ranked No. 12 in the HLTV rankings after a playoff run at IEM Cologne. The roster returned Pavel “S1ren” Ogloblin this season in place of Timur “FL4MUS” Marev. Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov, speaking on stream after the match, called the event “a crazy bad tournament for us” and said the team needed to address problems at home.

Series statistics underline the gap in form. xKacpersky finished with 49-20 K-D, 125.6 average damage per round (ADR) and a +11.71% impact swing; his overall KAST was 82.5% and rating 2.34. sjuush posted 30-24, 79.8 ADR and a 1.27 rating. BetBoom’s core posted lower ratings for the series: Pavel “S1ren” Ogloblin 1.05, Aleksandr “zorte” Zagodyrenko 0.91, Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov 0.64.

Rasmus “sjuush” Beck, after the match, commented that NiP controlled most phases of the game and cited CT Anubis as the only half where they lost momentum. NiP now advance to face Astralis for a spot in the playoffs. BetBoom will return from Paris to review performance and lineup choices following the elimination.
