Visa Delay Keeps malbsMd Out of Liquid’s CS Asia Opener

Team Liquid announced that Mario ‘malbsMd’ Samayoa will miss its CS Asia Championships 2026 opener against PARIVISION on May 20 at 03:00 due to a brief visa delay. Coach Viktor ‘flashie’ Tamás Bea will play the opening best-of-one.

Liquid noted the absence is temporary and added that malbsMd should “join the team later today once everything is resolved.” For the first match only, flashie will fill in on the playing roster while the team awaits the player’s arrival.

No other lineup changes were announced ahead of the match versus PARIVISION.

The CS Asia Championships 2026 appearance is Liquid’s final event before the IEM Cologne Major. Kamil ‘siuhy’ Szkaradek leads the roster. Liquid finished 9-12th at IEM Atlanta after losses to Astralis and GamerLegion.
