VALORANT Mobile Halloween mode turns eliminated players into ghosts
VALORANT Mobile will add the Trickster Invasion Halloween mode in China from Oct. 29 to Nov. 11, letting eliminated players return as ghosts.
VALORANT Mobile will add the Trickster Invasion Halloween mode in China from Oct. 29 to Nov. 11, 2026. Players eliminated during a match will return as ghosts and interfere with opponents who remain alive.
The limited-time mode is based on Swiftplay, VALORANT’s format for shorter matches. Instead of spectating after elimination, players will control ghosts and continue helping their teams.
Ghosts will be invisible to living enemies and will have a limited field of vision. They can move silently, jump higher and float across the map. Their abilities include creating false footstep sounds, activating environmental mechanisms and briefly revealing themselves to frighten or distract opponents.
Ghosts cannot damage living players. Ghosts from opposing teams can fight each other with knives. A defeated ghost will return to its team’s spawn point and wait to respawn.
Trickster Invasion will be part of VALORANT Mobile’s Halloween content in China. The mode is scheduled to run for two weeks, from Oct. 29 through Nov. 11, 2026.
VALORANT Mobile is officially available only in China. The game launched for Android and iOS on Aug. 19, 2025, after Riot Games developed it in partnership with LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS. It adapts the PC tactical shooter’s team-based gameplay and controls for touchscreen devices.
Riot Games plans to release VALORANT Mobile in additional markets, including Western regions, but has not announced an official release date or launch window for those markets.
