Valorant adds Duo Day capsule with duck and goose cards

Riot Games released the Duo Day capsule in Valorant as part of Patch 12.09. The drop offers duck- and goose-themed player accessories, contains no weapon skins, and is available for a limited time in the in-game store.
The offering consists of two separate bundles sold alongside each other. The solo capsule costs 618 VP and contains items intended for individual players. The duo capsule costs 1,520 VP and contains a matching pair designed to align with a queue partner’s solo set. When both players equip their cards the two images join to form a heart. The set also includes a third solo player card designed to complement the pair, allowing three players to arrange matching cards in a lobby. Items must be bought as complete bundles; individual pieces are not sold separately. Valorant’s gifting feature can be used to send bundles directly to other players.
Patch 12.09 includes other changes beyond the capsule. The update makes adjustments to the ranked system, reduces mobility for the agent Neon, adjusts cooldowns for Initiator-class agents, and previews upcoming limited-time modes including a new Spike format and a Replication mashup. Riot also flagged future changes related to Sentinel agents, including updates affecting the Veto and Bandit systems. The Duo Day capsule appears in the store alongside the Kuranami 2.0 weapon bundle, which had been live for several days.
The combined cost for players who purchase both bundles is 2,138 VP. Riot lists the capsule as accessories-only; it carries lower prices than Valorant’s full weapon skin bundles. The capsule will not remain in the store indefinitely and is available only for a limited time.
The Duo Day capsule follows earlier annual Duo-themed drops. The original Duo’s Day capsule launched in February 2024 after being announced as a free login reward and later moved into the paid store. The 2025 edition, labeled the Duo’s Day Haz & Matt Capsule, launched during Act 3 of 2025 and stayed on sale through mid-May 2025. Each edition has introduced new designs or mechanics; the combined-heart player card in the 2026 release is a new interactive element compared with prior editions.
