TMGM becomes Official CFD Partner of OG Esports
Australian trading platform TMGM has partnered with OG Esports as the Official CFD partner for OG’s Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 teams; financial terms and contract length were not disclosed.
The Australian-founded trading platform TMGM has signed a partnership with OG Esports and will serve as the Official CFD partner for OG’s Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 teams. The companies did not disclose the value of the deal or the contract length.
Under the agreement, TMGM will run fan-focused digital activations, offer exclusive rewards and produce co-branded content across OG’s website, social media and streaming channels. Announced campaign elements include cashback promotions and signed jerseys from OG’s Dota 2 and CS2 rosters.
Nick Yang, chief commercial officer at TMGM, described the connection between trading and competitive gaming: “Success, whether in financial markets or competitive gaming, is built on preparation, resilience and the ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment. These qualities are deeply embedded in both TMGM and OG Esports.” Xavier Oswald, chief executive officer of OG Esports, welcomed TMGM’s entry into esports, adding the partnership will offer “new ways to engage both through trading and unique OG experiences” and deliver long-term value for fans.
TMGM confirmed the agreement is the company’s first partnership in esports. OG Esports has expanded its commercial programme after the Chiliz Group acquired a 51% majority stake and appointed Xavier Oswald as CEO. Other recent commercial partners include crypto casino Dexsport and betting operator Melbet.
