Teemu Koski named CEO of NODWIN Gaming MENA

Teemu Koski was appointed CEO of NODWIN Gaming’s MENA operations after joining under a year ago as chief business officer. He will also lead the company’s global data monetisation business.

Teemu Koski has been appointed chief executive of NODWIN Gaming’s Middle East and North Africa operations, the company announced. The appointment is effective immediately. Koski will also oversee NODWIN’s global data monetisation business.

Koski joined NODWIN less than a year ago as chief business officer and led growth initiatives across the MENA region. In his new role he will expand the company’s activities beyond competitive esports into broader gaming and entertainment channels.

He plans to connect content creators, entertainment, online communities, brands, technology and live events to reach younger audiences whose media habits differ from older cohorts.

Koski wrote in a statement: “I’m excited to share that I’ve taken on the role of CEO, NODWIN Gaming MENA. My focus will be on accelerating this vision across the region by strengthening partnerships with governments, publishers, brands and strategic partners, while creating sustainable commercial platforms that help shape the future of youth culture.”

His stated priorities include strengthening partnerships with regional governments, working more closely with game publishers, deepening relationships with brands and sponsors, and building commercial platforms designed to last rather than short-term projects.

Koski’s background includes nearly 15 years at the Finnish telecom Elisa, where he became head of Elisa Esports. He later moved to Dubai to join YaLLa Esports as vice president of media business and was promoted to chief growth officer. YaLLa reportedly filed for bankruptcy in June 2025.

NODWIN operates in esports and gaming entertainment across several markets and has expanded into creator-driven content, live events and commercial partnerships aimed at younger consumers. Koski will manage regional operations while directing the company’s global data monetisation efforts.
