Teamfight Manager 2 Arrives on Steam Early Access

Team Samoyed launched Teamfight Manager 2 into Steam Early Access, pairing autobattler-style MOBA matches with scouting, contract negotiation, tactics and online leagues.

Korean indie studio Team Samoyed released Teamfight Manager 2 into Steam Early Access on May 26, 2026. The game is an esports management simulator built around a fictional MOBA and is available on Steam.

Matches use a five-player MOBA format with Top, Jungle, Mid, Bot and Support roles and objectives that end with destroying the enemy Nexus. Players do not control champions directly; instead they set orders, manage picks and watch teams execute strategies while contests over objectives and map features resolve automatically in an autobattler-like system. The Early Access build includes the core gameplay loop, a full champion roster, team management systems and an online league mode.

Management features include scouting and signing talent, contract negotiation, tactical setup, draft management and control over bans and picks. The game simulates individual player form using underlying algorithms and a simulated ranked solo queue, producing metrics for practice habits and performance trends that influence recruitment and lineup decisions. Team Samoyed describes these systems as similar in approach to the simulation layers used in titles such as F1 Manager.

The sequel adds dozens of new champions, a deeper tactics system and Steam Workshop support so players can create and share custom champions, maps, teams and tournaments. The launch trailer features pro player names such as IgNar and Mowgli. Team Samoyed says it will add more champions, extend management features and adjust balance throughout Early Access based on player feedback.

At launch Teamfight Manager 2 has mixed user reviews on Steam. The studio’s 2021 original received an aggregate positive score of about 83 percent. The title joins other esports management simulators on Steam, including Esports Team Manager, which released last year and includes licensed UK organisations such as Bulldog and Verdant.
