Team Liquid Ends Seven-Year LAN Title Drought

Team Liquid won the 2026 iBUYPOWER Masters fl0m’s Mythical LAN, sweeping every map and claiming their first LAN title since IEM Chicago in July 2019. The event was hosted by fl0m and featured top Americas teams such as NRG, M80, DENDELE CS, Chicken Coop and Wildcard.

Placed in Group A with M80, NRG and Chicken Coop, Team Liquid opened the tournament with a 2-0 victory over Chicken Coop and followed with a win over NRG to advance to the playoff bracket. In the semifinals they swept M80; the first game was close but Liquid closed the series with decisive play. In the grand final they defeated Wildcard, holding the opponent to single-digit rounds on both maps and finishing the event without dropping a map.

Team Liquid’s roster and tactical makeup have changed several times since their last LAN trophy in July 2019. The organization reached late stages of events in intervening years but did not secure a LAN title until this event.

The team is scheduled to play Stake Pulse Beat III, a tier-two event, before traveling to PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, which will feature broader international competition.

The iBUYPOWER Masters FML victory ends a seven-year gap between LAN wins for Team Liquid and registers as the organization’s first regional LAN trophy of the current competitive era.
