T1 sweeps Play-Ins; MSI Main Stage matchups set

T1 swept the Play-In stage 3-0 to reach the MSI Main Stage. Riot scheduled first-round matches: BLG vs T1, G2 vs Top Esports, Lyon vs Furia and HLE vs Team Secret Whales.

T1 finished the Play-In stage with a 3-0 record and advanced to the MSI Main Stage. Riot Games released the Main Stage draw and schedule during its broadcast.

The opening matches are set for July 3 and July 4 KST. On July 3 at 12:00 KST Hanwha Life Esports faces Team Secret Whales, followed at 17:00 by G2 Esports against Top Esports. On July 4 at 12:00 KST Lyon meets Furia and at 17:00 KST Bilibili Gaming takes on T1. The broadcast included local kickoff times for viewers in other regions.

BLG and T1 will meet in a rematch from the 2024 World Championship. G2 last faced Top Esports before its elimination from the 2025 World Championship in the quarterfinals. Lyon represents North America against South America’s Furia. Team Secret Whales is the Vietnamese representative and will play Hanwha Life Esports.

The Main Stage will move into upper- and lower-bracket play after the first round; teams will advance or drop into bracket matches based on their results.

Riot’s broadcast highlighted posts from BLG top laner Bin on Chinese social platforms in which he called T1’s Doran “bad.” Commentators noted those messages when previewing the BLG–T1 matchup.

Organizers are expected to make a T1-related announcement tied to the Riftbound card game during coverage of the MSI Finals.
