Stake Ranked Episode 3 bracket, opening matches set

StarLadder has published the bracket and opening matchups for Stake Ranked Episode 3, a $100,000 LAN tournament taking place in Barcelona from July 15-18. The event will use a double-elimination, best-of-three format until the grand final, which will be a best-of-five.

The opening-day schedule on July 15 lists Ninjas in Pyjamas versus K27 at 10:00, 3DMAX against HEROIC at 12:30, Wildcard facing Gentle Mates at 15:00, and paiN meeting Phantom at 17:30. The full bracket and match times are available on the event page.

Ninjas in Pyjamas enter Episode 3 as the reigning Stake Ranked champions. The team exited the Swiss group stage at XSE Pro League Guangzhou with a 1-3 record and fielded temporary academy promotee Roman “n0te” Hamze at that event. Captain Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer will lead the lineup in the opening match against K27.

HEROIC have completed their roster ahead of the tournament with Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin joining the team and a Spanish sniper scheduled to make his debut. HEROIC will play 3DMAX on the opposite side of the bracket from Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Gentle Mates will compete without Antonio “MartinezSa” Martinez in their match against Wildcard. The final match of the opening day pairs paiN with Phantom.

Stake Ranked Episode 3 features international teams across four days of LAN play with a $100,000 prize pool. StarLadder is hosting the event and will run the double-elimination format through to the best-of-five grand final.
