Stake Pulse Beat moved; MOUZ, Alliance give roster updates
Stake Pulse Beat LAN moved to July 31-Aug 5; open qualifier June 30-July 1 will award two LAN spots. MOUZ coach confirmed brief talks with Emil “Magisk”; Alliance failed to extend MaiL09’s loan.
Black Molly Entertainment rescheduled the $60,000 Stake Pulse Beat LAN to July 31-August 5. The open qualifier was moved to June 30-July 1 and will award two berths to the Stockholm LAN. The event had been scheduled for August 4-9. The organizer also plans to host three tier-2 LANs in Stockholm this season.
MOUZ head coach Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen addressed April rumors linking the team to Emil “Magisk” Reif during a pre-Major vlog. Nielsen said the contacts were limited and occurred around Christmas. He commented, “I did talk with Magisk a couple of times, but that was way back in Christmas, and also because he lives like five minutes away from me.” Nielsen added that early-year conversations should not be taken as active negotiations.
Alliance chief executive Jonathan “Loda” Berg posted on X that the organization attempted to extend Liam “MaiL09” Tügel’s loan from Metizport but did not reach an agreement. Berg wrote that Alliance presented what he described as “the highest trade offer in the history of the organization,” yet Metizport declined the terms. Alliance stated it explored all options before the loan ended.
The June 30-July 1 qualifier will decide two teams that advance to the July 31-August 5 LAN in Stockholm. Organizers describe the Stockholm events as additional competitive opportunities for tier-2 teams outside the top-tier circuit.
Organizers and teams are finalizing summer schedules and roster plans ahead of upcoming competitions. The revised Stake Pulse Beat dates and the outcome of the loan talks will determine which squads appear at the Stockholm LAN.
