SOOP, Gen.G to co-host 2026 LCK homestand at KINTEX
SOOP and Gen.G Esports will co-host the two-day 2026 LCK Team Roadshow House of Gen.G – Homestand on July 31-Aug. 1 at KINTEX Hall 5 in Ilsan.
SOOP, a streaming platform, announced a partnership with Gen.G Esports to co-host the two-day 2026 LCK Team Roadshow House of Gen.G – Homestand on July 31-Aug. 1 at Hall 5 of the KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 in Ilsan.
Under the agreement, SOOP will handle planning, marketing, content production, live broadcasting, match management and on-site operations for the homestand. The platform will host the finals of its streamer tournament, LoL Myeongmyeongjeon with Gen.G, on Aug. 1. Full program details and ticketing information will be released at a later date.
The homestand will run under Gen.G’s brand direction, described as “Rivals and Friends.” Gen.G is scheduled to play T1 on July 31 and Dplus Kia on Aug. 1; those LCK matchups are the competitive focus of the weekend.
The event program will include participatory on-site content, fan meetings and experiential activities intended to give fans direct access to players in informal, off-stage settings. SOOP will manage the live broadcasts, extending a streaming partnership with Gen.G that runs through 2028.
A homestand is a team-hosted event at a dedicated venue that combines regular-season matches with in-person fan experiences, offering a more interactive match-day format than standard arena or tournament settings.
SOOP also announced an exclusive pro player programming lineup for June 2026 to maintain fan engagement during the LCK off-season.
