SOOP Cross-Regional LoL Invitational to pit LCK vs Americas

SOOP will host the Cross Regional – SOOP LoL Invitational online on June 26–27, 2026. The two-day event will feature nine matches broadcast exclusively on SOOP with localized commentary channels.

Five games are scheduled for Friday, June 26, and four games will conclude the series on Saturday, June 27. All matches will stream only on SOOP’s platform and will be available with commentary in multiple languages.

The event pairs three South Korean League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) rosters-DN SOOPers, Dplus KIA and KIWOOM DRX-against a combined Americas alliance made up of Cloud9, FlyQuest and Brazil’s LOS. The Americas teams are currently training in South Korea.

SOOP described the invitational as the second phase of a wider promotional campaign and content investment plan to keep fans engaged during the competitive off-season and to preview potential team synergies ahead of the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).

The online invitational follows a streamer-focused Cross-Regional: LoL Korea vs. France event held June 21–22. That earlier show included a partnership with payments provider Payletter and offered a 10 million won prize pool. The upcoming event will involve active professional rosters rather than streamers.

Korean commentary will be provided by Lee Seo “Kuro” Haeng and Kim “GimGoon” Han-saem, both with experience in LCK and LPL broadcasts. Adam “Eragon” Harney, a former LEC caster and coach with the United Kingdom Esports Nations Cup, will return to deliver the English-language co-stream.

Organisers say the invitational leverages the presence of overseas teams bootcamping in South Korea to showcase official team partnerships and to draw viewership before MSI begins. The event is online-only and aims to provide competitive matches while teams finalise preparations for international play.
