Seth Green Joins Global Gaming League Advisory Board

Emmy-winning actor, writer and producer Seth Green has joined the Global Gaming League advisory board and will work with league leadership on creative strategy, intellectual property development, talent partnerships and original programming, GGL announced.

To mark the appointment, GGL launched “Ready, Seth, Go!”, a month-long, 10-event tournament series on GGL Primes, the league’s premium competitive platform that debuted one week earlier. The series runs across multiple game franchises and includes about 50 prize opportunities aimed at amateur and community players.

Planned activations include Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies survival challenges featuring Green’s voice character Poindexter, Mass Effect speed-run events tied to his role as Joker, and competitive brackets for Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6. A creative contest called “Build Your Shepard” will invite community members to design custom Mass Effect avatars for Green to review.

Clinton Sparks, GGL founder and CEO, wrote that Green’s long history of building devoted fan communities in animation, television and film will help the league develop programming that brings fans into interactive experiences. Sparks also said the league aims to design events that encourage audience participation rather than passive viewing.

Green wrote that he has long been involved in passionate fan communities across media and that GGL’s approach to accessibility drew him to the role. He added that making competitive gaming more open gives more people an opportunity to compete and connect.

GGL was founded by Clinton Sparks, a Grammy-nominated music producer and former FaZe Clan executive who co-founded XSET. The league’s executive roster includes recording artist T-Pain as director of strategy, and its franchise ecosystem features celebrity team owners such as Howie Mandel, Ne-Yo and Flavor Flav.
