SAW signs IEM Cologne semi-final core for new CS:GO roster

SAW announced the signing of a new CS:GO roster built around the core that reached the IEM Cologne 2024 semi-finals. The main lineup includes Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes, João “story” Vieira, Michel “ewjerkz” Pinto, Adones “krazy” Nobre and Filipe “NOPEEj” Dias, with Tiago “mowzassa” Rodrigues as head coach and Tiago “SYDOX” Fonseca moving up from the academy to the coaching staff.

MUTiRiS and krazy join from BC.Game. Story arrives from FlyQuest. Ewjerkz had been out of competition since being benched by Ninjas in Pyjamas in December and returns after a seven-month break. NOPEEj signs from Rebels, where he had played since September 2025.

MUTiRiS previously represented SAW between 2020 and 2025. Krazy had a six-month stint at SAW before joining BC.Game earlier in 2026 as part of that club’s core acquisition. NOPEEj finished second at the 2024 IESF World Championship alongside Rhyno and krazy.

The organization confirmed the group it kept after selling the previous core to BC.Game will remain at the club under the name SAW Youngsters, maintaining the academy pathway. Mowzassa is promoted to lead the main roster, with SYDOX shifting from the academy to support the first team.

The new lineup will make its first appearance on Sunday in the West European Open Qualifier for BLAST Open Fall. The team is scheduled to travel to Paris next month to take part in the Esports World Cup open qualifier.
