Saudi Esports Federation, The Chefz sign MoU on sponsorship
The Saudi Esports Federation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Chefz to expand sponsorship and marketing cooperation for its events across Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Esports Federation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi food delivery app The Chefz to expand cooperation on sponsorship and marketing for the federation’s events and initiatives across the Kingdom. Financial terms and the partnership’s duration were not disclosed.
The agreement builds on the organisations’ collaboration at the sixth Saudi Esports Federation Awards 2025, held in January 2026 at SEF Arena in Boulevard Riyadh City. At that event The Chefz sponsored the Best Female Player award, won by Modhi Al-Kanhal, and Best Rising Streamer, won by Waleed Al-Shamali. The Chefz appeared alongside sponsors including Golden Scent, NES, Nova, Richy and event presenter J Event.
Officials have not published specific responsibilities for each party or a timeline for joint activities. The federation described the MoU as a framework to deepen cooperation on sponsorship and marketing across its calendar of events and initiatives.
Ibrahim AlSheddi, Chief Shared Services Officer at the Saudi Esports Federation, commented, “We are proud to continue our collaboration with The Chefz and build on the success of our partnership at the SEF Awards.” Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, Chief Commercial Officer at The Chefz, added, “We are pleased to sign this MoU and look forward to applying our sponsorship and marketing expertise at upcoming events.”
The agreement is part of a wider programme of commercial partnerships by the federation. Earlier announcements named Yalla Group Limited as official event partner for the Saudi eLeagues 2026 and extended collaboration with Richy Group for the sixth SEF Awards. The Chefz is a Saudi food delivery app and the federation oversees national esports programming and awards in the country.
