Runestone tapped as data partner for Winter 2027 CS2 Major
Runestone will serve as the Official Data and Integrity partner for the winter Counter-Strike 2 Major in 2027. Host city and organiser have not been announced.
Runestone has been confirmed as the Official Data and Integrity partner for the second, or winter, Counter-Strike 2 Major of 2027. Valve has not yet published the event’s host city or the tournament organiser.
Valve’s tournament rules require official competitions and host cities to be announced at least one year in advance. By that schedule, organisers must publish the winter Major’s location and operator by the end of 2026.
Runestone was founded about two years ago by industry veteran Shane Clarke. The winter 2027 agreement will be the company’s fourth CS2 Major assignment. Runestone previously provided data and integrity services for the 2025 StarLadder Budapest Major and is listed for the PGL Major Singapore 2026 later this year. The company is contracted for the FiReMAJOR Buenos Aires 2027 in June, which will be Argentina’s first CS2 Major.
As Official Data and Integrity partner, Runestone will supply the event’s data feeds and integrity systems. The firm has held similar roles at other large tournaments. Beyond Counter-Strike, Runestone has separate agreements with SURGE and NODWIN Gaming for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and with Raidiant for an Overwatch series. The company was the title partner for Global Esports Industry Week 2026.
Organisers and exact dates for the winter 2027 Major have not been released. Given Valve’s one-year disclosure requirement, host city and operator details are expected before the close of 2026.
The deal continues Runestone’s consecutive Major engagements from Singapore 2026 through the Buenos Aires event in June 2027 and into the winter Major later that year.
