Riot outlines partner activations for VCT Fan Fest Barcelona
Riot Games detailed partner activations for the free VCT EMEA Stage 2 Finals Fan Fest, Aug. 28–30, 2026, around Barcelona’s Olympic Arena, featuring KitKat, Razer, Sony INZONE and others.
Riot Games has released the commercial partner lineup and schedule for the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Finals Fan Fest, a free event running Aug. 28–30, 2026, in and around Barcelona’s Olympic Arena. The fan zone will operate alongside the ticketed Stage 2 Finals matches.
The Fan Fest will run across three connected indoor and outdoor spaces adjacent to the main stage. Organisers designed the area to provide hands-on brand experiences, meet-and-greets with talent, grassroots competition and casual play before and between headline matches.
Commercial activations form a large part of the footprint. KitKat will operate a relaxation lounge with bean bag seating, arcade hardware and a mission-booklet passport that integrates 1v1 duel challenges. Razer will sponsor the official Meet-and-Greet area and host creators, talent and professional players. Sony INZONE will display gaming hardware and monitors developed in partnership with Fnatic. OMODA will exhibit vehicles in the main partner area. ExpressVPN will run an interactive “Beat the Hacker” mini-game. AORUS Gigabyte will collaborate with Team Heretics on that team’s on-site activation.
Five VCT EMEA teams — Fnatic, Gentle Mates, Team Heretics, FUT Esports and Team Vitality — will operate dedicated hubs offering merchandise, giveaways and on-site 1v1 player matches where fans can meet players and take part in team-led activities.
Local programming includes Circuito Tormenta hosting an official tour stop on Aug. 29 to crown grassroots champions and to provide passport stamps to participants of VALORANT’s 3v3 Retake mode. The fan zone will also feature gamified attractions such as The Range shooting booth and a Defuse the Spike seven-second timing challenge, an Artist Alley with eight local and international creators, and a craft workshop produced with Barcelona cultural agency MOSAICCOS.
The three-day schedule aligns with the regional championship’s match timetable, offering open-access fan activities concurrent with the ticketed main stage. Industry activity in the same period includes Esports Leaders Paris on Aug. 21, an event for senior decision-makers in esports and gaming.
