Riftbound launches T1 Signature and Player cards at MSI

Riftbound announced a collaboration with esports organisation T1 on day one of the Mid-Season Invitational main stage in Seoul, revealing two new product tiers that will be sold through Riot’s merchandise channels via drawings scheduled for August. Chinese and Korean sales will be handled in-region and follow separate fulfilment rules.

The Signature Edition is a premium, serialized collector product released in English, Chinese and Korean versions. Each language run is limited to 10,125 copies. Every set includes one numbered card with a serial from 1 to 2025, the year of T1’s World Championship win. The serialized cards use a new foiling effect and carry a gold-stamped player signature on the numbered card. English entries to the draw will be listed at $360 on the Riot Merch store; the Chinese and Korean editions are priced at ¥2,025 and ₩500,000 respectively.

The Player Bundle is aimed at people who plan to use the cards in play. It contains the same five champion cards with different artwork and gameplay focus, plus a pack of sleeves, a deck box, a binder and a metal die. There is a one-in-ten chance the die will be a black-and-gold variant. The Player Bundle is priced at $70 in English, ¥399 in China and ₩100,000 in Korea. Both products will be distributed through drawings on Riot’s merchandise platform beginning in August.

The five cards mirror the Worlds skins for T1’s 2025 champions: Ambessa the Wolf for Choi “Doran” Hyeon-jun; Galio Indefatigable for Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok; Miss Fortune Buccaneer for Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong; Seraphine Not Alone for Ryu “Keria” Min-seok; and Xin Zhao Vigilant for Moon “Oner” Hyeon-joon. A separate Worlds skin, Yunara, is not included because a corresponding Riftbound card has not been created.

One timing detail affects competitive use: the Seraphine Not Alone card comes from the upcoming Riftbound set Radiance and will not be legal in sanctioned tournaments until Radiance is released. Because production and shipping could complete before that set launches, Seraphine cards in these products are likely to be unusable in sanctioned play until the set goes live.

Riftbound also used MSI to preview other upcoming cards, including versions of Jayce, Mel and an overnumbered Ahri, and to announce a Korean expansion for the game. T1’s on-field performance referenced by the products: the organisation entered Worlds 2025 as the fourth seed, advanced from the play-in stage and won its sixth World Championship and third straight title.

Riot will publish draw dates, region-specific purchasing rules and stock levels on its official merchandise channels ahead of the August drawings.
