REJECT renews Rohto sponsorship through fiscal 2026
REJECT renewed its sponsorship with Rohto Pharmaceutical for fiscal 2026 to continue eye‑care and gaming‑culture campaigns featuring the team’s players and streamers.
Japanese esports organisation REJECT has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Rohto Pharmaceutical for fiscal 2026, the companies announced. The renewal continues a partnership that began in 2023.
Under the deal, Rohto will work with REJECT on projects tied to esports and gaming culture, using the team’s players and streamers to support promotional campaigns and event‑related activities.
The partnership has produced content aimed at player health and community engagement. One example is a sponsored video featuring REJECT streamer Yuto Oe that promoted awareness of eye strain. REJECT indicated the renewed agreement will focus on content and event programmes rather than straightforward advertising.
Shoya Koyama, Representative Director of REJECT, commented, “Since signing the sponsorship agreement in 2023, we have worked with Rohto Pharmaceutical to develop various initiatives that are mindful of the fan community of games and esports. Furthermore, we are continuing to explore ways of communication that go beyond mere promotion and are naturally accepted by the community.”
A Rohto Pharmaceutical spokesperson added, “The members of REJECT continue to take on challenges on the world stage, and their efforts have touched the hearts of many fans. It is with this desire to support their endeavors that we have extended our sponsorship agreement. Rohto Pharmaceutical, together with the athletes, staff, and supporters of REJECT, will support the excitement and passion that comes from taking on challenges, and together we will energize the hearts of as many people as possible.”
REJECT has been expanding its commercial portfolio. About a week earlier the organisation renewed its agreement with Yogibo and secured a new sponsorship with Japanese food and biotechnology company Ajinomoto Co., Inc.
The renewed contract keeps Rohto and REJECT working together through fiscal 2026.
