PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 Moves to Paris With $3.03M Purse

PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 will be held Aug. 6–16 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Organizers shifted the venue from Riyadh on May 20. Thirty-two teams will compete for $3,025,000, with the Honor Magic7 Pro as the official smartphone.
The mid-season event is organized by KRAFTON, Level Infinite, and the Esports Foundation. Competition will be played in Squads TPP mode with teams from Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East. Confirmed entrants include Team Vitality, DRX, S2G Esports, FURIA, Alpha7, Team Flash, RRQ, Nigma Galaxy, GodLike Esports, Tianba, Aurora, and invitational team Yangon Galactic.
The Group Stage runs Aug. 6–9 with 32 teams split into two groups of 16. Each group plays 12 matches. The top five in each group advance to the Grand Finals, teams placed sixth through 13th enter the Survival Stage, and the bottom three in each group are eliminated.
The Survival Stage follows on Aug. 11–12 with 16 teams playing 12 matches. The top six teams progress to the Grand Finals; the other 10 teams leave the competition.
The Grand Finals take place Aug. 14–16 with 16 teams, 10 from the Group Stage and six from the Survival Stage. Up to 18 matches will be played across three days on a fixed daily rotation: the first match on Rondo, the next three on Erangel, and the last two on Miramar. The Smash Rule will apply on the third day.
Prize money is concentrated in the Grand Finals at $1,700,000, including $500,000 for the champion, $250,000 for second place, and $150,000 for third. The Group Stage awards $574,000 per group and the Survival Stage pays $152,000 in total. An MVP award carries $25,000.
All matches will be played on standardized Honor Magic7 Pro devices throughout the tournament.
