PlayerX named presenting partner for CDL 2026 Champs

PlayerX will serve as the presenting partner for the Call of Duty League 2026 Championship Weekend in Las Vegas, operating a fantasy hub that integrates real-time statistics and official live match streams. The event runs July 16–19, 2026, at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay.

The commercial tie places PlayerX inside the season finale, where the top eight franchised teams compete in a double-elimination bracket for a $2 million prize pool. Production for the Championship Weekend is handled by the ESL FACEIT Group.

PlayerX’s fantasy hub lets users draft customised lineups using active Call of Duty League professional players. The platform pulls live match feeds and up-to-the-second stats into its interface so users can monitor fantasy rosters while matches are in progress alongside the main broadcast.

Financial terms and other operational details of the partnership were not disclosed. PlayerX was developed by World Champion Fantasy, Inc., and markets itself as an all-in-one fan engagement destination.

Organizers indicated the integration will run alongside the main broadcast and offer viewers an interactive option during the tournament. The deployment of in-event fantasy tools coincides with the league’s final weekend format and reflects growing use of interactive platforms in live esports events, where real-time data and integrated streams let fans participate while watching matches.
