Phantom signs Danish AWPer Nico ‘nicoodoz’ Tamjidi

Phantom announced the signing of 25-year-old Nico ‘nicoodoz’ Tamjidi, who will take over AWP duties and replace Łukasz ‘mwlky’ Pachucki on the active roster. Mwlky has been moved to the bench after less than four months with the team. Nicoodoz had been inactive after ECSTATIC benched four players.

The Polish organization wrote on X that the transfer was finalised for competitive reasons. The post included a message that mwlky ‘has been an important part of the team since joining us in March and has been a great teammate, always bringing positive energy.’

Nicoodoz follows Thomas ‘TMB’ Bundsbæk, who also joined from ECSTATIC in May. Phantom’s active lineup now lists Kamil ‘KEi’ Pietkun, Kacper ‘Kylar’ Walukiewicz, TMB and nicoodoz, with Dawid ‘lunAtic’ Cieślak as coach. Jakub ‘Kunai’ Gieremek and Łukasz ‘mwlky’ Pachucki remain on the bench.

The organization expects to reveal a final player soon following Kunai’s benching. Phantom is preparing to compete at Stake Ranked Episode 3 in Barcelona from July 15-18.

Nicoodoz returns to active play after ECSTATIC’s roster reshuffle and will assume Phantom’s AWP responsibilities ahead of the Barcelona event.
