PGL sets rules for CS2 Singapore Major community streams

PGL’s Nov. 4 guidelines limit free community streams for the CS2 Singapore Major 2026 to independent creators using personal setups and a 180-second CSTV delay.

PGL published community broadcast guidelines for the CS2 Singapore Major 2026 on Nov. 4. The rules set technical and commercial conditions for third-party coverage of the tournament.

Free community streams are limited to independent creators broadcasting from personal, non-studio setups. Commercial media outlets, production companies and digital content studios must obtain a media rights license from PGL before streaming matches.

Community broadcasts cannot use physical studio sets with multiple on-air talents, paywalls or sponsor exposure. Prohibited promotions include brand overlays, channel panels, product placements and sponsored messages in chat.

Creators must use the tournament’s in-game CSTV spectator feed, which has a mandatory 180-second delay. They cannot rebroadcast the official event stream. PGL may pursue copyright enforcement against broadcasts that violate the rules.

People serving Valve competitive bans cannot appear on community broadcasts in any form, including through video or voice. Creators planning commercial broadcasts or shows with multiple on-air talents must apply to PGL for co-streaming approval.
