Persol Cross Technology to Sponsor FENNEL, Back AI Efforts
Persol Cross Technology will sponsor esports team FENNEL from July 2026, placing its logo on off-stage jerseys and exploring AI and data-analysis collaborations.
Persol Cross Technology has signed a multi-year sponsorship with Japanese esports organisation FENNEL that begins in July 2026. Under the agreement, Persol’s logo will appear on FENNEL’s off-stage jerseys and other apparel used in promotional and community settings.
The deal includes joint projects to apply artificial intelligence and data analysis to competitive training, fan engagement and team operations, though neither organisation disclosed specific products or pilot programmes.
Persol Cross Technology is a Tokyo-based technology solutions and engineering staffing firm that works in AI, data analysis and IT services. FENNEL fields rosters in Apex Legends, VALORANT, League of Legends and Brawl Stars.
Ryo Takashima, president and CEO of FENNEL, commented in a translated statement: “We are extremely honored to have entered into a sponsorship agreement with Persol Cross Technology. Going beyond a simple sponsorship relationship, we will promote medium- to long-term initiatives that will lead to the creation of new value by combining Persol Cross Technology’s expertise in cutting-edge technologies, including the IT and DX fields, with FENNEL’s experience cultivated in the competitive and community domains.” Shinji Masaki, president and CEO of Persol Cross Technology, added in a translated statement: “Through this sponsorship agreement, we will support FENNEL in their further success and contribute to the development of the entire esports industry. We will also proactively consider and promote new initiatives unique to both companies.”
FENNEL recently extended its sponsorship with DUNLOP for its VALORANT and VALORANT GC (Women’s) teams and signed a partnership with gaming brand HyperX in April 2026. The Persol agreement follows those commercial deals.
No financial terms were disclosed. The sponsorship begins in July 2026 and covers apparel worn off stage and at community events.
